Hermann Ebel has been directing the business both of HANSA TREUHAND, of which he was a co-founder in 1983, and of HANSA SHIPPING, which has been responsible for the shipping sector within the HANSA TREUHAND Group since 1994. Mr Ebel has a qualification in Business Management, and was formerly employed as Managing Director and financial manager of a North German shipyards group. His tasks at the time already included marine financing. He has now been responsible for the planning and management of more than 100 ship projects. As a businessman and shipping operator, he habitually aims for overarching solutions. For example, HANSA TREUHAND was one of the co-initiators of the secondary market for closed funds on the Hamburg Stock Exchange. For this and his other achievements, in 2004 Hermann Ebel was voted 'Hamburg Businessman of the Year' by television station Hamburg 1 and newspapers Die WELT / Welt am Sonntag.
